The Mighty Will Fall

"I don't see how I've ever sold anything in my life."

This came out of the mouth of an executive coach who, for the first time in his life, found himself in a situation where he was both the focus and being coached.

This triggered in me the idea of a story of a man who is considered by his peers to be at the top of his game, but after spending a day on camera, goes home and reevaluates his life, ultimately deciding that he is a failure and a fraud.

I've seen this happen so many times. People who are confident in their own fields, crumble when put on camera. Why is it that the camera magnifies people's insicurities?

This strange phenomena makes me really appreciate a professional on camera talent.

Plus it makes me realize how I have no paitence for working with non-professionals.
